Frequently Asked Questions

Can you give me a delivery time so that I don't have to wait in all day?
We cannot offer specific delivery times. Deliveries are usually made between 7:30am and 6:30pm.

Who will deliver my order and what service level should I expect?
We use City Link for most deliveries. For larger items, depending on the number of items in the order and the delivery address we will either deliver with our own facilities or use the manufacturer's courier company. Please note that this may only be a one man delivery and that arrangements should be made to move the goods into your property.

Can I change the delivery address on an order?
In most circumstances it is not possible to make changes to your order one you have placed it.

Can I have a product delivered outside the UK?
Currently we are only able to deliver to UK addresses, including Northern Ireland but excluding the Channel Islands.

Do your units come with a warranty?
All our units come with a minimum of 12 months warranty.

Do you offer extended warranties?

How do I cancel my order?
Please advise us ASAP through "contact seller" in your Ebay account

How do I contact you?
Once the item is saved in "my ebay" simply select "more actions" and then "contact seller"

I haven't received a receipt for my order?
Your order receipt email is your receipt. Please print this off and retain on file for future reference. If you have not received this email then please contact us at retailshop@sse.com with your details

What happens if the item I have ordered is not available?
Our acceptance of your order is subject to stock availability. If we cannot fulfil your order we will contact you by your preferred method offering you alternative products or a refund.

I've cancelled my order but do not have a refund yet?
Refunds can take from 3-5 working days to appear on your statement depending on whom you bank with.

What is your returns policy?
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from the day after the day on which the goods were received. You must notify us by e-mail / in writing of your intention to cancel. The following conditions apply:-
Goods must be returned with the original packaging, AS SOLD, with all components and accessories.
Goods must be complete and been taken adequate care of (i.e. if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done without damaging the product in any way).
Any "FREE GIFTS" with the products must also be returned in good condition.

You must organise the return of the unwanted items at your own expense and risk. Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorisation. The returns authorisation is valid for up to 14 days only. Goods sent back without prior returns authorisation will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery will be invoiced to you. Alternatively we are able to arrange insured collection. The cost of this is available on request.

My Product is faulty, what do I do?
Email our After Sales Team on retailshop@sse.com or Tel: 0845 609 0022. Please ensure you have all your details to hand (These are on your receipt email).

Can I place an order overseas?
Yes. Customers from abroad can place an order, as long as the order is delivered within the UK. (Including Northern Ireland, but excluding the Channel Islands)
