Everything you need to know about doing business with us

Whatever your preferred form of transport, we think that you’ll find our website of interest. For 25 years now we’ve specialized in supplying 12V & 24V products as well as other vehicle related items and they’re all here, in our on-line shop.

Whether you’re looking for the very latest in satellite TV systems or a fire extinguisher, a box of tachograph charts or a GPS navigation system, we’ve probably got just what you need.

But, unlike some of our competitors, we don’t just sell the products in our shop, we use them as well – in our motorhomes, caravans, narrowboats, cars and van. We’re constantly testing products and looking for ways to improve their performance and this means that we offer our customers reliable and honest advice based on experience.

This is also the place to find useful information and technical tips on 12V/24V products, links to other relevant sites and more. And we’re always delighted to hear from customers who are using our products. We’ve tried to make shopping on the RoadPro website simple, reliable and secure. We hope that, if we’ve succeeded, you’ll be a satisfied customer and then become a regular customer.

Simplicity

To find the product you’re interested in, you can either use the search function or just go through the categories. These have been organised in a logical, straightforward manner so that locating exactly what you want should take no more than 2-3 clicks on your mouse and a bit of up & down scrolling.

When moving through the category levels, hover your mouse pointer over the images to bring up a description of the products in each category. On the product pages, you can easily navigate by using the category path at the top of every page.

You may add items to your shopping basket and then remove them again at any time. After you’ve finished shopping, just click on the checkout button and you’ll go through to our secure payment area where you confirm your order, enter your address information and make your payment using any of these credit or debit cards

If you prefer, you may pay by cheque. Please note that payments by cheque will be subject to normal bank clearance which may delay dispatch of your goods

Reliability

We don’t claim to be perfect but we can assure you that we do everything possible to ensure that our customers are satisfied. Over the past 25 years we have successfully processed tens of thousands of orders to destinations both in this country and around the world. We only use carriers who have proved to be reliable and we take great care to ensure that goods arrive at their destination in first-class condition. If you are in the U.K. we aim to get your goods to you within 3 working days of receiving the order. If there’s a problem we will let you know as soon as we can.

Satisfaction

We only want satisfied customers. To this end we operate a “satisfaction guarantee”. See below for details.

Satisfaction Guarantee:
IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH ANY PRODUCT THAT HAVE BOUGHT FROM US, RETURN IT TO US WITHIN 10 DAYS OF RECEIVING IT AND WE WILL REPLACE IT OR REFUND YOUR MONEY. THIS GUARANTEE APPLIES ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN OBSERVED:

  1. You must contact us for a returns reference within 7 days of receiving your goods and return them to us within 7 days of receiving a returns reference.
  2. You must send the goods to us at your cost.
  3. We must receive the goods unused, undamaged, complete with all accessories, cables, paperwork and packaging and in “as new” condition.

In situations where the above conditions are not fulfilled, we will not be able to give full credit or replace the product. If you wish to return goods to us, please contact us by e-mail at returns@roadpro.co.uk. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them. Product Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, all our products are covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials or manufacturing. We are able to solve a lot of problems over the ‘phone or by fax, e-mail or letter but, it’s a fact of life that electrical and electronic products can go wrong. When they do, we won’t let you down.

During the warranty period, we will repair the item or replace it at our discretion and return it to you as quickly as possible. If we cannot repair or replace it we will offer you an alternative or a refund. If you suspect that a product is faulty, please e-mail us at returns@roadpro.co.uk with details of the item, the fault and information on when and where you bought it: an invoice number would be helpful but your name, address and phone number are sufficient.

We will contact you and, if necessary, arrange with you to collect the item and send you a shipping label. You must ensure that the goods are securely packaged. We cannot be held responsible if goods are damaged in transit as a result of insufficient packaging. We are only able to offer this service to customers within mainland United Kingdom. Outside this area, goods must be returned to us carriage paid.

You must send us all the accessories, cables, adaptors, remote controls, etc. that were supplied with the item when you took delivery of it. If the item is faulty and we replace it, we will only return to you the accessories, paperwork, packaging, etc. that you returned to us.

When we receive the goods we will check them. If the product is not faulty or not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we will contact you. In such a situation, you must pay us a fee of £20.00 to cover carriage charges. Outside the warranty period or if the fault is due to negligence, misuse or fair wear and tear, there may also be a charge for repairing the item. Please note that it is not always possible to repair products economically.

These terms and conditions apply from 1st August, 2006 and override all previous terms and conditions
