Payment methods

Our preferred method of payment is Paypal. However, we can also accept postal order, Personal cheques or bank transfer.

Please note that if you wish your delivery to go to a different address other than the one held in eBay, you must pay via Paypal, which gives you the option to change address during the payment process.

Payment timescales

We do not have a fixed time for payment, but the sooner we receive payment, the sooner we can despatch your item. We will send a courtesy email after a week or so to check that all is well, sometimes payments do go missing. If we have heard anything after 4 weeks, we will have to start the process to recover fees from eBay, but will keep you informed at each stage.


Items will be despatched within 1 working day of cleared payment.Please note that it can take up to 10 days for a cheque oe e-cheque to clear, depending on your bank. Therefore if you choose this payment option, it will obviously take longer for items to arrive. We will always send you an email to advise you once an item has been despatched, regardless of payment method.


All deliveries are sent via Royal Mail. Gift boxes are sent via Second Class standard post, although an option to upgrade to First class is available in each listing, if an item is needed urgemtly. We will obtain proof of postage on all deliveries. If you would like to insure your parcel, please let us know and we will check out the current prices from Royal Mail for you.

Outside the UK

Our listings are primarily aimed at the UK market. However, if you live outside the UK and are interested in one of our products, please contact us and we will see what we can do. IF buying from outside the UK, we would be grateful if payment could be made via paypal.

Returns policy

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, if you are unhappy with, or no longer want an item you have purchased from us, you are entitled to a full refund, which, for the avoidance of doubt includes any postal charges made for the delivery of the items to the agreed Delivery address. This refund guarantee applies for 7 working days, commencing from the date the items are received at the Delivery address.

Please note that this guarantee does not include any costs incurred in returning the items to us. In order for this guarantee to apply, all items must be returned in an undamaged and 'as new' condition.

If you wish to return an item to us, please email us in the first instance at We recommend that you obtain proof of purchase from the Post Office or return the items recorded delivery. Upon receipt of the returned items and satisfactory inspection to ensure they are in an undamaged condition, a full refund will be issued within 28 days.

Faulty items

In the unlikely event that any of our products do not reach you in perfect condition, please contact us directly at the first instance in order that we can resolve the situation.

Food Regulations

We only stock pre-packaged confectionery, supplied as wrapped by the manufacturer. This means that the only hands touching your sweets are yours. Most wrappers include a list of ingredients along with the products sell by date. However, in instances where this is not provided on the wrapper, we will include within the box.

Privacy policy

At Letterbox Friendly we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information you provide us solely to process orders, and where requested, to issue you with our regular newsletters. We do not pass on your personal details to any third party unless their services are directly required in the fulfilment of your order e.g. Paypal.
