 PACKAGING & DELIVERY.

One of the key aspects to the successful online purchase of ceramics, glass or indeed many vintage items, is the importance of quality packaging. Having that long sought-after collectable stuffed in a cat food box and loosely wrapped in smelly old newspaper, only to find it broken on arrival is most frustrating - and still far too common an occurrence with some sellers.
As hopefully shown here, and as my feedback will attest, I take real pride in carefully packaging all my items using new, clean and recyclable materials whenever possible, to provide a quality experience to match the items themselves.

 1. Fragile items are double layered in foam wrap and/or bubble wrap (with delicate surface items wrapped in acid free tissue paper first). Multiples of plates/bowls/etc are all carefully interleaved with foam wrap too, with all items then snuggly taped up to prevent any movement.
2. Items are then placed in generously sized new boxes surrounded by clean starch based biodegradable void fill 'packing peanuts'. (Some non-standard size items are occasionally packaged in recycled boxes).
3. Boxes are then securely taped-up, addressed in permanent ink, return labels affixed, clearly marked as 'FRAGILE' and all Airmail & Customs information added if necessary.
