Newandusedlaptops4u uses DPD UK for all UK domestic & commercial deliveries via 24 hour recorded delivery service. Once your item is dispatched you will receive an email to confirm this.
Your email will contain your tracking number in which can be used to track your item by clicking the following link. https://www.dpd.co.uk/service/
If you have given a valid UK mobile number you should also receive a text message confirming the dispatch of your item, along with multiple updates regarding the status of your delivery during your expected delivery date.
In addition, the courier also aims to give an estimated time slot by text of your item being delivered on the day of delivery. If you miss your delivery on your expected delivery date, please use the calling card left by your driver to check whether your item requires a re-delivery or if it has been readied for re-delivery the following day.
All shipping date estimates are available on each item listing and Newandusedlaptops4u are proud to say that our parcel deliveries are attempted on or before the delivery date shown 99.9% of the time.
Please be aware that Newandusedlaptops4u DO NOT offer any collection of items in person, your purchase must be shipped via courier service.
12 Months Return to Base (RTB) Warranty
Although we are fully confident in our work and expect your item to be in full working order, we appreciate that from time to time things can go wrong.
Therefore, all items purchased from Newandusedlaptops4u come complete with a minimum 12 Month RTB Warranty (unless stated otherwise) which starts the moment you sign for your parcel.
In the unlikely event your item develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, Newandusedlaptops4u will repair or replace your item accordingly. Alternatively, if you prefer you are entitled to a full refund upon the safe return and inspection of the item purchased.
If your item develops a fault after 30 days from delivery you will be entitled to a repair or replacement only. This does not affect your statuary rights.
Should you require a repair, replacement or refund, please contact us vis eBay for your Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) code along with address details for return. Please ensure that you have an RMA number for return, returning an item without authorisation and an RMA number will lead to an Unauthorized Return request.
Upon returning your item, please ensure all files you require to keep are backed up. Newandusedlaptops4u will endeavour to repair your item without data loss, however if the repair requires a replacement part or Operating System re-installation, Newandusedlaptops4u will take no responsibility for file loss/corruption.
***Please note*** All items must be returned via courier. It is recommended that a "signed for" service is used for peace of mind. We do not accept any responsibility for Return costs after 30 days from purchase and/or loss/damage in transit of any kind. Any items being returned back to you will be done so free of charge via DPD Recorded delivery.
If your item is unwanted or purchased in error, please note that you have 30 days to return it to us for a full refund. We are unable to process a refund for an unwanted item beyond 30 days from delivery.
What the warranty does not cover
The warranty does not cover accidental damage such as liquid spillage and cracked LCD Screen. It also does not cover software problems such as viruses/malware, or file corruption/loss, however we will always endeavour to help with situations of Software corruption. In most cases, your Battery is guaranteed to last for a minimum of 30 minutes (please see item listing). Batteries will be replaced if they do not meet that criteria if reported within 7 days of delivery. Battery faults reported after 7 days from delivery will not be covered by your warranty as these items are classed as consumable and deteriorate over time depending on use.
