We only use high quality 32mm solid Brass Socket Castors which are strong and are designed for load bearing furniture. Our 32mm Chrome Socket Castors are plated versions of the Brass Castor so they are equally strong.

You can fit these legs with confidence to Sofas, Chairs and of course lighter furniture as well.

Be aware that cheaper castors (and those with smaller diameter wheels ) may not have the load bearing capacity required for larger items of furniture.

If you intend to fit fixed legs (i.e. without Castors) to the rear of your furniture then you should  choose a rear leg which is about 20mm to 45mm shorter than the front leg.
