We are happy to offer our UK customers peace of mind when placing an order of £30 value or more by providing a Free Returns via DPD Store Returns or Royal Mail Tracked Return services. Please ensure that you inform us of your intent to return by opening a return request on your eBay order (within 30 days of delivery).
Now you can order in confidence, safely in the knowledge that should your items not fit correctly or are unwanted you don't need to worry about the cost of returning the goods. A free return label will NOT be included in orders below a value of £30 and must be returned by the customer using a suitable postal service.
Before taking your order/item to one of the return drop-off points outlined below please ensure that:
The item/s for return are in a New, Unused and Saleable condition with original product packaging and tags (This does not apply to faulty items).
You have opened a return request for the item/s on your eBay order and the return form included with the order has been completed and is enclosed inside the parcel.
Your item/s are suitably packaged for their return journey (this can be in a jiffy bag, courier bag, wrapping paper or other suitable packaging)so as to avoid damage in transit.
No labels are attached directly to the product or product packaging (Please attach labels to outer packaging as outlined above).
- Once your return parcel has been posted it is highly recommended that the tracking code is updated on your return request (This will help us to quickly resolve any issue should your parcel be lost or delayed in transit)

FREE UK Royal Mail Tracked Return - Smaller items
The Royal mail tracked return service means that you can drop your parcel off at one of over 11,500 Post Offices in the UK. When you drop off your parcel at the Post Office you will be given a receipt that will have the tracking details for your parcel so you can track where it is and see when we receive it. Royal Mail Tracked Return services are usually used for shoes, clothing, skates, skateboards, scooters and other similar sized items. Anything over 5kg or a large shoe/skate box, please use the above DPD Store return method.
If returning items from outside the UK, we are, unfortunately, unable to provide a free service and this will be at the cost of the customer (unless the item is faulty). It is recommended that a tracked service is used as SkateHut cannot be held accountable for items lost on their return journey. If you are returning a faulty item from outside the UK we recommend that you contact us via eBay immediately with details of your issue and we will assist with the return and resolution accordingly. Returns are typically completed quickly however we request that you wait up to 5 working days of receipt back at SkateHut before contacting us regarding returned orders.
All the information you need regarding returning your goods should be on this page or, on a flyer included with UK orders (if over £30 value) with the returns details for you. Please read through carefully. Should you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact us via the eBay contact seller options on your order.
-In the case of B-Stock or Ex-Shop items, you must notify us straight away if you are unhappy with your item or else we will not be able to offer a refund. If the item is used following receipt, we will not be able to refund the item. Any cosmetic defects relating to the item are made clear in the item description, so if you are unhappy with its appearance the customer will be required to pay for the return postage.
-Any items deemed to be faulty by the customer must not be returned before first contacting us with full details of the issue and opening a return request. We will aim to contact you within 1 working day to offer a solution. Sending images of the fault where visible can help to speed up this process. An item cannot be refunded or exchanged if used by the customer until an inspection has been made by ourselves. If the problem is repairable, we will send the item back to you free of charge in full working order. If the item is deemed faulty, we will provide further options/advice to resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
