Delivery Information

We aim to deliver your item(s) within 1-2 working days of receiving your order.

Once your item has left Dyson, you'll receive an automated email from our courier Parcelforce that includes a tracking number. You can use this to track the progress of your delivery at www.parcelforce.com/track-trace

If you provide us with a mobile telephone number during checkout, our courier will text you with updates about when you can expect to receive your order. This text service is also interactive which means, if it's not convenient, you can arrange for your item to be delivered on another day (Monday to Friday), to a neighbour or to one of 10,500 Post Office branches (providing they have capacity). Please note, text messages are sent from 7am and may be received by landline phones.

All Dyson orders need to be signed for upon delivery. If no one is present at your address when Parcelforce call, the courier will leave a card notifying you of the delivery attempt. The card will also include instructions for how to collect your item or rearrange delivery for another day. Please note, the courier may attempt to deliver your item(s) to your neighbour.

Re-delivery is free of charge unless Saturday delivery is requested where there may be a fee. Re-delivery to a new address may incur a re-direction fee.

Unfortunately, we're unable to provide any special delivery instructions to the courier on your behalf.

Returns Information

Returns are free within 30 days of receiving your item(s); so if you haven't quite found the right machine, or you simply change your mind, we can arrange to collect your item(s) for free.

Returning an item yourself?

If you choose to return an item yourself, let us know which courier you've used along with the tracking information by emailing ebayteam@dyson.co.uk. Don't forget to keep hold of your proof of postage.

Please note that we're unable to reimburse postal charges if you send the item back yourself.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned order, our engineers will inspect the item(s). If everything looks good, we'll refund you via PayPal within 5 working days.

To ensure your refund reaches you as quickly as possible, please allow a few days from the return delivery date before contacting us.

All returns must be approved and received back at Dyson before a refund can be issued.

Every Dyson machine comes with a free parts and labour guarantee. And if anything does go wrong, we're there to help. How long are new Dyson machines guaranteed for?

Because of the lengths we go to in development and testing, we have utter confidence in every one of our machines. That's why we provide some of the longest guarantees in the industry. New Dyson upright and cylinder vacuum cleaners are guaranteed for five years. New handheld and cordless vacuums, fans, heaters and humidifiers are guaranteed for two years.

How long are refurbished Dyson machines guaranteed for?

Refurbished Dyson machines are stripped, cleaned, rebuilt and tested by Dyson engineers to a nearly-new standard. Every refurbished machine bought from Dyson comes with a free Dyson guarantee that reflects the thoroughness of the refurbishment process. Refurbished (B grade) uprights and cylinders are guaranteed for two years. Refurbished (B grade) handheld and cordless vacuums, fans, heaters and humidifiers are guaranteed for one year.

How do I register my free Dyson guarantee?

You can register your guarantee online, by post or by phone. To save time, you'll need the following information about your machine:

  • Serial number (on the machine / registration form that came in the box)
  • Date you purchased the machine (receipt or delivery note, whichever is later)

All refurbished machines sold via the Dyson Outlet store have had minimal use. They are either ex-demonstration or retail display models, or usually return orders from customers who have changed their mind after opening the box.
Each refurbished machine is stripped down, cleaned, rebuilt and tested by a Dyson engineer - restoring it to ‘nearly new' standard. We're so confident in the quality of these machines that we offer a guarantee on all refurbished products. Refurbished (B grade) uprights and cylinders are guaranteed for two years. Refurbished (B grade) handheld and cordless vacuums, fans, heaters and humidifiers are guaranteed for one year.
Please note we call our refurbished items grade B. This is to differentiate our refurbished items from our brand new items, which we refer to as A grade.
