Button size comparison chart
All of the buttons sold on the Adamventure Craft shop site are shown with metric sizes, and most have the equivalent imperial measurement. However some will also have a 'ligne' or 'li' which has no obvious correspondence to either measurement system. Ligne is a measurement scale adopted by German button manufacturers, early in the 18th Century, and now accepted internationally as the standard, even if actual linear measurements seem to be taking precedence. The following table can be used for converting some of the more common sizes between the three scales.
