2.a Online:

If you wish to purchase online, please go to the page with the item of your choice and click on the yellow ‘Buy it Now’ button. You will be clearly directed, step by step, through the purchase process that will enable you to buy via your selected payment method, directly from our eBay store.


Sec Pay: secure online credit card payment.

Cards accepted - Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta, JCB card, Solo, Maestro, Visa Electron, Kash. Selecting this method you will need to contact us directly via telephone or email.

Pay Pal: If you don not have a Pay Pal account, it only takes a few minutes to set up and then complete your transaction. Registration with Pay Pal is completely free and will not incur any additional costs.

3 - Shipping & Insurance


3.a Dispatch Time: 

All items are condition checked prior to packaging.

Dispatch is normally on the next working day.


3.b Postage/Shipping:  FREE OF CHARGE to all customers.

Purchases will be sent via Royal Mail First Class Recorded, Royal Mail Special Delivery, Royal Mail International Signed For, FedEx.


3.c Insurance: 

Insurance cover is provided FREE OF CHARGE for items up to the value of £20,000.  All items are fully insured and sent at the risk of AC Silver.


4 - Returns Policy


You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the address below without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us.

Returns Cost

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Returns Policy for Altered Goods

If an item has been sized or altered prior to dispatch, an exchange or credit note will be offered.

If an item of silver has been personalised with engraving, no refund can be offered.

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

If you decide to cancel your order you must contact Andrew Campbell via the eBay messaging centre.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

For international returns; where applicable and charged by HM Revenue & Customs, any duty and tax will be deducted from a refund given.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

Due to exchange rates, PayPal or bank charges, an international refund may not be received to the exact amount paid. AC Silver Unlimited refunds the total paid amount, however has no control over the amounts issued by PayPal and banks.

A refund will be processed upon the receipt of the returned goods and completed inspection.


5 - Guarantees


5.a  AC Silver guarantees a professional yet personal service, with full attention given to any genuine enquiry or purchase.  We aim to facilitate any purchase either in person or on line, and provide a prompt dispatch.  All items will be professionally packaged ensuring you receive your purchase in good order.


5.b All Hallmarks are clear and readable unless otherwise stated.


5.c With every item purchased you will receive a written receipt, detailing the date or circa date of manufacture, a full description and the price paid. This receipt should be kept for your records, for insurance purposes and produced if you wish to use the AC Silver Part Exchange Option in the future. (See our Investment Options Page for further details).


5.d As a member of LAPADA (The Association of Fine Art & Antique Dealers) the largest association of professional art and antiques dealers in the United Kingdom, CINOA (Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d'Art / International Confederation of Traders in Works of Art), and BJA (The British Jewellers Association), AC Silver abides by very strict codes of practice, which assure both trade, and private customers of the highest standard of professional conduct.  In the unlikely event of a dispute the Association's free Conciliation Service will ensure a fair and speedy investigation.
